PEROLO AGENCY was founded in 1990 as the first translation agency in the country and it has been operating continuously with success to this day.
The founder of the Agency, Miljenka Perolo, has been a court translator for English for almost three decades now and she has cooperated with the most prominent public figures in Serbia in all professional domains as well as companies that value reliability, quality, tradition and whose priority is receiving top of the line timely translation service with absolute confidentiality of clients’ data. The fact that we are one of the few Agencies with its own in-house court interpreters for English, in addition to outsourced associates, enables us to translate documents from and to English quickly and efficiently with no time loss on your part.
LEGAL DOCUMENTS - contracts, tender documents, minutes, protocols, actions, claims, resolutions, decision, rules of procedure, extracts from company registers, financial reports, audit reports, invoices, certificates, international permits and licenses, powers of attorney, laws, etc.
PERSONAL DOCUMENTS - birth, marriage and death certificates, citizenship certificates, various certificates issued by national and foreign state authorities, schools, institutions, diplomas, decrees, diploma supplements, graduation papers, theses, academic transcripts, transcripts of grades and curriculums, CVs, visa applications; residence permits, work permits, account activity statements, IDs, driver’s licenses, passports, medical findings; patent documents, etc.
It is necessary to provide an original or certified copy of document that needs to be translated to our Agency at 35 Takovska street, on business days between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. It is also possible to provide the text that needs to be translated by mail to the Agency address written above or by e-mail to the address:
agperolo@bvcom.net or ag.perolo@gmail.com, and present the original or certified copy when taking over the certified translation.
Considering that each country has its own requirements related to certification and binding of documents, we advise that you inquire before submitting the document for translation whether the country you are applying to with your document requires the certification of authenticity of document, and if so, to determine which type of certification: Apostille (countries signatories of Hague Convention) or full legalization (countries that are not signatories of Hague Convention – most of the Arabic countries, Canada, China etc.). Please also check whether the translation must be bound together with the original or the copy of the document. You can inquire about this (in Serbia) with the International Legal Assistance Department (Odeljenje za međunarodnu pravnu pomoć), 011/655-37-24 (on business days from 7:30 a.m. till 3:30 p.m.).
The Apostille is issued by the First Basic Court in Belgrade, 42a Boulevard Nikola Tesla.
Full legalization is certification of documents by court interpreter, followed by verification by Basic Court, Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and finally by the Embassy of the respective country.
